:D

I'm def. entering this contest. My memories aren't like " they saved my life !" because they didnt, and I'm not gonna say that I've been following them since the beginning, because I wouldve been in second grade, (and how much sense would that make ? In second grade I was into weird radio disney crap) But they have definitely saved me from boring moments. and all of my best and worst moments have been documented by one of their amazing songs. They saved me from crying over guys, ( because who cries when you're listening to "The Music or The Misery"?? ) Listening to them is like a wake up call. Its like someone understands. Even though you're not going through what people would consider "major problems" they still help, because its the little things that count. They helped me realize that Im fine just me and my mp3 player and i dont NEED to be popular or have a boyfriend or be "like her" . Because "she" doesnt know shit about Fall OUt Boy. "she" doesnt have magazine clips and posters and postcards and OCK membership welcomes all over her walls. and that sucks for her. majorly. Fall Out Boy is like a hand on the shoulder when you're puking, a shoulder to cry on when you're wondering " what the hell does he see in HER" and listening to them is like a big hug when everything is going wrong and no one understands. Because they understood and they always will. I got into F.O.B when they first came out with IOH. I didn't hear them on the radio or anything like that, but i saw someone with one of their shirts and decided to check them out. I fell in love the minute I heard the guitar on "Thriller". And now I own every single album and single. from Evening Out With Your Girlfriend, and the Project Rocket Split EP, all the way to Folie a Deux, and i preordered BND already. I am an OCK and my wall is covered with anything and everything to do with them. magazine pics, even the smallest, photos, posters and interviews. out of god knows how many songs on my Mp3 player all but like, 10 of them are Fall Out Boy. and more to come, cuz of BND :D I get out of bed in the morning and even when all these thoughts going through my head are like " oh, great, i have to face them today" and " let's face it, ill always be just his friend" , i can always have something to look forward to. because if i don't check OCK.com and falloutboyrock.com, I'd miss all of those little "hell yeah !" and anxious-to-see moments. And I dont want to miss a second of it, because F.O.B is a part of me, and always will be, because if I hadnt of listened to them, i wouldnt have gotten into a fight with my ex "best friend" ( she said f.o.b copied everyone else and that they were "gay" ....the nerve.lol.) and i wouldnt have gotten over a guy that didnt like them, and ended up being a total jerk and pervert anyways ( liking fall out boy is a requirement for my prince charming :D ) and life just wouldnt be the same. and im liking life right now. so thanks, Fall Out Boy. :-) long live the car crash hearts~?

Thnks fr th mmrs; and much much more...

Fall Out Boy is the sole reason im even still alive. i went from being this preppy little blonde girl to becoming a cutter.... and suicidal. one of my friends found out that i wanted to die, and she said " you can't kill yourself. who will be fall out boy's biggest fan then?" and im still here, still punk/emo, and still in love with fall out boy. the best night of my life was their august 18th concert in minneapolis with panic at the disco and blink 182. its something that ill never ever forget.

I Remember Back in '07 and May...

NOVEMBER 13, 2007: The Young Wild Things Tour. First time to a real concert, first time seeing Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Cute Is What We Aim For, and The Plain White T's. It was an okay night, and I was glad that I got to see some of my heroes live. Unfortunately, some circumstances came up where my former friend that came with me did not like it there because she didn't like that the bass made her heart thump, so I was forced to leave three songs into Fall Out Boy. I was devastated about it, and I still am, but the next time I went, my time there would be totally better. None-the-less, It was a night I will never forget. MAY 1st, 2009: Second Fall Out Boy concert! Totally crazy. I got there at 1:30 and waited outside of the doors until 5:30 when the doors opened. I got to the very front of general admission and into the mosh pit. Hey Monday went on first, and the rocked it amazingly. I found a new band to add to my favorites. Then came Cobra Starship, they totally pwned. And I got to touch Gabe Suporta's hand. : ) After them was Metro Station, they were okay...they had some killer moves. During all of this, the mosh pit was out of control, none of the security could get it to stop, which was what I knew was going to happen after a while, but started pulling people out who were getting hurt. I was trying to help them since I was one of the tallest people in the crowd. I'm 5'8" while most of the crowd was about 5'4"ish. Once I started hearing people say that they were going to get killed if they stay for All Time Low and Fall Out Boy, I started to have a panic attack. The people around me lifted me up and got me to security to pull me out of there. Thank God I was instantly able to find my mom, who was with me, once I was out of mosh pit. She took me over to first aid after I told her that my back hurt and I twisted my ankle. Nobody there could help me...but I was finally able to stay for Fall Out Boy, who pwns live or in studio. : ) My back still hurts because of it, but I would totally do everything again just the way I did, even if I knew the outcome, because I had an amazing time and was finally able to see my favorite from beginning to end.

memories~

i'd been a big fan of fall out boy since from under the cork tree but up until bamboozle 2009 i'd never seen them live. seeing as bamboozle would be a great way to see many of my favorite bands perform i went. my friends and i decidede to wait at the stage fall out boy was performing on about an hour before they were suppose to go on. when the intro music started after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, a very bothersome mosh pit started. even though i was being crushed by sweaty bodies i sang along with the music. we were able to make out way out of the mass of violence eventually. one of my friends lost her shoes, and the other lost her hair (someone pulled out her extentions). i had a tear in my jeans that wasn't there that morning. even though we looked and felt crappy we still had the best time dancing and singing along to fall out boy. the awsome live music made it all worth it...

an 11 year olds descent into the music scene . . .

ahaha i was kinda young so bear with me . . .i remember the day i first heard a fall out boy song like it was yesterday. i was watching mtv hits, listening to all of the artists, and then BAM! fall out boy's sugar we're goin down comes on . now, mind you, my music tastes at the time consisted of mainly hip hop, r and b, and disney music. so when i heard this song i was just like "wow, i really like this song" and it instantly became the only song in my head for the next month. haha even now i dont get sick of that song. that day for me was super important for me because it not only exposed me to my favorite band FOB!, but it also exposed me to really amazing music genres that i normally would not have been interested in . . .so yeah, fall out boy sort of provided me with a musical revelation, an epiphany if you may, they are pretty much the reasoning for me having 65% of the artists i do on my ipod . . . and i still love fall out boy to this day. they're an amazing band!

Awkward beginning

Growing up in a "quite conservative" Filipino culture, I covered my eyes and flipped the channel when half-naked jumping girls and pete-almost-removing-his-pants in this aint a scene it's an arms race would appear on the television screen. That was my first encounter of the boys, Fall Out Boy. I was fourteen then. Things changed when I was on the phone with a friend. This friend was a boy, we had a thing, we would talk on the phone and although we were just a house apart ( we were neighbors), we would watch tv together by watching the same channel and program--hearing each other's reaction through the phone. We were watching the music channel. When suddenly, this aint a scene started playing. I covered my eyes and was suppose to flip the channel--afraid to feel awkward-- when he suddenly commented. I couldn't remember exactly what he said but I just kept mum. Then it was pete's part and the jumping girls. Through out that scenario on the television, we were both quiet. Eyes open, staring at the tv screen. Pete then falls off the building--we both gasped. then laughed. Joe sorta hugging Patrick, and Andy noting how it was just "dreams"...we were entertained. I though it was an epic music video and I wanted to see it again; and I did. Since that day on, that wasn't the only thing I saw of Fall Out Boy. <3 Paje Refuerzo
